The Story Behind the Photo
I have an active imagination and I've always thought the California tower in Balboa Park was taken right out of a scene in a fairy tale. I think this is the view that a band of merry adventurers would come across as they complete a long arduous journey to a wizard’s tower. Just as they enter the hidden valley, they see their destination through an opening in the trees. It is both foreboding and promising.
