I love it when night falls over a city. There is a transformation as people move out of the daily rush of a busy work day. Some are going home but others are just relaxing for a moment before the rest of the night calls. As I sit there watching with my camera ready, there comes a time when the city lights are perfectly balanced with the deep blue sky. Traffic becomes a pretty blur leaving only light trails on my picture.
This is Horton Plaza Park which was remodeled in 2016. The plaza was greatly expanded by the addition of an amphitheater with an interactive water fountain in the center. The remodel also added the 8 giant luminaries (the 23 feet tall metal scultpures) and restored the Broadway fountain in front of the Grant Hotel.
Available in the following sizes:

Medium: Archival pigment print with acrylic facemount
This is a pigment print where the front has been directly mounted with an adhesive to a sheet of ultra clear, scratch resistant, and non-reflective acrylic glass. This process is known as face mounting. The acrylic captures light internally resulting in a display with incredible visual depth and vibrancy. With proper lighting, the acrylic print will appear to be back illuminated with the light emanating from the image itself. The print comes ready to hang with a hidden mount on the back that floats the print off the wall.
Please allow 4-5 weeks for production and delivery of your print. The prices include U.S. shipping, please contact me for international rates.
