The lights on Spreckels theatre reflect off a wet sidewalk during a rainy December night. The theatre is located in the Gaslamp Quarter and is a San Diego historic landmark.
I knew when the flash flood warning alarm went off on my phone that it would be a good night for photographing in the rain. We had a deluge and I took advantage of it to catch some reflections downtown. Thankfully, I didn't need to drive because I live about a 10 minute walk away. I actually tried to get this shot last year but we had so little rain it never happened. I'm hoping we get quite a bit more so that we can actually get a decent spring wildflower bloom.
