A tide pool of turquoise water is revealed during low tide and it reflects the clear blue sky. A window and pillar has been carved into the sandstone cliffs by erosion.
Erosion is a powerful force and I've always enjoyed exploring the coast and finding all of the different forms and shapes left behind.
I've been to this spot multiple times and I usually focus on the window in the cliff face. Before I get here I always wonder what I'll see in the window. Perhaps a nice set of clouds? maybe a bird flying through the sky? the sun setting in with brilliant colors? It's a bit like a crystal ball for me.
However this time I went, I was struck by how turquoise the water was in the tide pool. I have seen lots of other tide pools and they were never this colorful. I think it balances the stone and sky nicely.
