The Story Behind the Photo
This weekend I headed out to Jacumba and the Valley of the Moon with a friend to do some hiking, exploring, and of course photographing. It was hot, 94F, when we started hiking and we were faced with a brutal uphill climb at first. Thankfully it cooled off pretty quickly as the sun started to set. The rest of the hike was uneventful -- I was worried about rattlesnakes but didn't see any. The trail was also a little confusing with many turnoffs and forks but thank god for offline GPS maps. We found this hidden gem right by the border with Mexico.

With proper lighting, the acrylic print will appear to have light emanating from the image itself. The back of the print is sealed with another layer of protective acrylic. The print comes ready to hang with hidden mounting hardware on the back that floats the print off the wall.
