The Story Behind the Photo
When I see this radar dome in Mt Laguna, I imagine it's there receiving signals sent from a far off alien civilization located light years away in the galaxy.
The dome used to be part of an Airforce Station but the base was abandoned many years ago and most of the buildings were ultimately demolished. Only the dome, which is now operated by the FAA, and few support structures remain.
About the Prints
This photograph is available in a limited edition of 30 fine art prints. Each print is made to order with the highest quality pigment inks and fine art papers. With proper lighting, the acrylic print will appear to have light emanating from the image itself. The back of the print is sealed with another layer of protective acrylic. The print comes ready to hang with hidden mounting hardware on the back that floats the print off the wall.
