Abandoned Homestead in East San Diego County

Good Times Past | Abandoned Homestead in East San Diego County

This is the remains of an old homestead in east county. Probably abandoned for at least 70 years or more. I spent a fair bit of time looking for a composition and wandering around the ruins putting my camera in all sorts of different positions. Initially I was thinking of shooting toward the south to get the MW core in the frame but the chimney didn't line up and I wanted that to be the focus. I can only imagine the people who lived here before, sitting around the fireplace enjoying some good times.

Purchase a beautiful collectible print made with the finest archival papers and pigment inks. The prints are made on a heavyweight acid free paper with a smooth satin finish. Each print will be signed using an archival pen in the margin beneath the image. I love printing with fine art papers and this is my preferred medium.
