Sunset Cliffs

They call it sunset cliffs for a reason | Sunset Cliffs

I seem to have an obsession with caves and sunsets. I had a choice of going to shoot the full moon rising or heading to the coast and taking advantage of the low tide to reach some caves. I chose the coast. Not sure why, maybe because I always like playing in giant cardboard box forts as a kid and a cave is just the adult version.

I waited outside the cave and I wasn't sure if we were going to have a nice sunset. It wasn't until very late that the sky started having an awesome burn. I went inside and took a bunch of pictures. So excited I forgot to talk to the couple and get their emails if they wanted the image. As I was heading back up the cliffs a woman and her daughters were talking. One of them said they call it sunset cliffs for a reason. Can't disagree.
