This was the night that convinced me that I have no ability to predict awesome sunsets, the kind where the sky just lights up into massive fiery display of color.
A few hours earlier, I had been discussing where to shoot this evening with a few friends. Eventually we decided on Tourmaline beach, a place that I've alway wanted to photograph but hadn't had a chance to visit. Before going out, I always check the weather report and webcams and I thought to myself, it's probably not going to be a great sunset but at least I'll get to scout out the area and hang out with friends.
Well the sunset turned out much better than expected. I was optimistically hoping for some color and yellowish clouds but I wasn't expecting the fireball that we got.
